The drama began … When the truck skidded on the iced slick highway, it went out of control and was weaving from one lane to the other. The approaching sports car recklessly changed lanes in an effort to maneuver the impending curve. Now both vehicles were traveling in the wrong lanes and at a high rate of speed. Any attempt the drivers made to correct their positions failed … an accident was imminent. Then the truck broadsided the sports car forcing both vehicles over the shoulder and each began a treacherous descent down the mountainside.  As they crashed against trees and hurtled down the steep embankment, one of the vehicles struck a power transmission tower causing it to collapse. Four bodies lay at the foot of the mountain, while two young children, now orphans, peacefully slept ... Ashley at home in Atlanta with her grandparents and Kevin at the home of his aunt and uncle in Durango. Quickly Angel Rebecca was selected from the Celestial Realm and sent to Planet Earth. Rebecca did not realize the seriousness of the situation and how it would strain her patience and abilities.

The fantasy ended … When Mitch drove home that evening, he continually thought of the situation that occurred earlier in the day and was anxious to get to the parsonage and find his childhood Bible. He was sure the newspaper clipping he had carefully placed in I Corinthians Chapter 13 was still there. After supper Jenny could read this old and yellowed news item, and then he would relate the story  … the story that traced this fantasy and led Ashley and Kevin through the years. As their lives unfold, would the angels sing, would the bells ring?
