Ed Head

Edgar”Ed” Head is a native of north Alabama and a Korean war veteran. After graduating from Tulane University Business School, he enjoyed a work career with the Bell System and AT&T. Coming to Pensacola,Florida in 1970, he quickly fell in love with his “Camelot” and after several relocation attempts by AT&T, he finally took an”early out” rather leave Pensacola. He still resides there.

Over the years he has been active with the American Red Cross, Pensacola Chamber of Commerce, Pensacola Historical Society,St. Paul Catholic Church, West Florida Literary Federation, Pensacola Rotary Club, Pensacola Sports Association, Northwest Florida Arts Council and now as a volunteer at his beloved Baptist Hospital.

Though young now only in mind and spirit—he still enjoys tennis, golf and a number of other interests.

My poetry is about my feelings, thoughts, observations, conclusions, experiences—Living, Loving, Looking, Leaving--- and these seem to sum up life in total, at least for me.
