Author D. J. Belt was born in Winnipeg, Canada. He has lived all over the globe, including Japan, Hawaii and Europe. Having crossed the Pacific twice by ship before his 10th birthday, Belt has had an interesting and noteworthy life. He is currently a radiologic technologist in Pensacola, Fla.
